BFA application is up....

Final Application...doesn't look like much but everything took a very long time...hopefully I get in!!)
I feel sooooo relived to have this thing up and done. I do feel better about this one but last time I made the background cool by painting it gray. I now realize that was a huge waste of time. Maybe if I had spent just as much time on the actual content instead of the wall itself. I submitted paintings, drawings, photographs and some graphic design last semester. I did this because I felt like I was applying for a BFA (Bachelors of Fine Arts) so I should show strength in as much areas of emphasis as I can. I guess it is better to show a strength in one's intended emphasis. Although my intended emphasis is Visual Communications (aka Graphic Design) I still personally love real drawings and paintings. The digital world is intense and abundant but there is a natural beauty to a real piece of work. No printer I've seen can imitate formal, passionate expression.  I love the real (non-digital) thing, that's not where the money is...unless you are super amazing(which I'm not!). Pretty much everything sold is designed: from the physical object itself to the packaging and advertising for the object. I like the creativity appeal to my intended career...anyway I'll stop babbling....here's some of my pieces:
The highlight of last week, saw this amazing band!!!! Hardly anyone was there and we could be all up close. Could even had met the band afterwords because they were outside the exit but I was too shy and starstruck I didn't do anything!:/

This was from my study abroad in Germany. It was the name of our program.
This was a class assignment where we had to remake an abstract painting out of words.
Cubist Designer.
Thrive fitness center (made the logo & black figures....rest is mixing colors and photographs.)
